Hola Mi Familia!!

Hola mi familia!!

I am only allowed 10 minutes to email you but oh my gosh I have so much to say! Yesterday was such a rush. From feeling so nervous and sick to my stomach to feeling so welcomed and comfortable. My host gave me so much advice as she helped me get all of my stuff and get situated. Then I went to meet with my district.

Guess who my companion is! Hermana Guerts! The daughter of the lady mom was talking to on facebook. Truly everything happens for a reason. They weren't joking when they say that they start teaching you in spanish right away. I honestly felt so grateful that I took spanish in high school because I have a jump start that some of these elders and sisters don't have. However, I can already feel the gift of tongues blessing my life. I am speaking more that I ever thought that I could in high school. Getting to know my district was so great. Every single sister is going to Costa Rica but the Elders are kind of scattered. Only one of them is coming with us. The sisters and I get along so well! I'm so grateful for that because I was so worried prior to meeting them. During the orientation fireside, my friend Grady from EFY 3 years ago found me! It was so crazy but it was so great to see him.

The food is cannon center food...and creamery ice cream. The rumors are true. Also, everywhere I look I feel like I see familiar faces from BYU. I feel like these six weeks are going to fly by but I want to make sure that I take it all in. It seems like everyone here is so spiritual and they all have such strong testimonies. I want to be able to take inspiration and learn as much as I can before I am thrown into the field. I'm so grateful for prayer and I know that it works. Otherwise I would be half asleep right now. My P day is Wednesday by the way! My zone seems super cool and I can't wait to get to know them better! Alright well I have to go!
I love you all soooo much!!
